Higgins Coatings proudly exhibited at the ASBA 2025 National Conference in Darwin last month — and what a week it was!
Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Top End, the event brought together over 700 delegates from across Australia’s education sector. As a long-standing supporter of ASBA and Platinum Partner, we were proud to take premium position in the Darwin Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Our name lit up the Darwin skyline on Night One, with a Higgins-sponsored Drone Show making a spectacular start to the conference. This year, we were also joined by our friends at Haymes Paint, who proudly partnered with us to bring the Higgins exhibit to life. From there, the week rolled into high gear — with strong interest at our booth in our different service offerings.
Beyond the booth, Higgins made its mark with the return of our famous Nightcap ‘after party’. Co-hosted with our valued supplier CompNow, the event welcomed over 250 delegates for a night of live music and dancing.
On Thursday afternoon, we hosted a Paint and Sip session during networking drinks – and it was a hit! With canvases, brushes, and beverages in hand, delegates took the chance to tap into their creative sides and paint an iconic Darwin sunset.
And of course, we can’t forget Henry the Croc – the unofficial Higgins ASBA mascot and a crowd favourite. Henry drew plenty of attention with everyone wanted to get their hands on the plush croc to take home.
