Earlier this month our Brisbane team attended the annual QLD Master Painters awards at the Brisbane Star Casino. With over 400 people attending the event, Higgins was nominated in two different categories:
- The Best ‘>$500,000+ Commercial Repaint’ Project
- The ‘Innovation in Painting’ Project
We were runner up in the ‘>$500,000+ Commercial Repaint’ category. Big congratulations to our Project Manager Richard Jackman for his efforts in managing the Maddison Heights rope access project that was nominated.

Later in the night Higgins won the ‘Innovation in Painting’ award, for our Altitude Service - Drone pressure washing offering! This is a significant award for Higgins being recognised by our industry as leaders in innovation. The cleaning works completed by the team at Suncorp Stadium and Pat Rafter Arena were specifically referenced in winning the award.

Congratulations to everyone involved with our Altitude Service division over the last few years. We wish to acknowledge the team who have steadily growing this division from its infancy to now, including Chris Dennis and Dan Pope, who started it all, through to the current management of Ben Cook and Shane Clarke, all the Drone pilots and everyone else who assisted over the past years.
