Our Work with the Blue Tree Project Reaches the Northern Territory!
Higgins' commitment to supporting mental health awareness has extended to the NT, with our Darwin team partnering with the Darwin Turf Club to refresh the iconic blue tree on Stable Street.
The bright blue tree now stands proudly once again as a symbol of hope, visibility, and support for those navigating mental health challenges in our community.
We were privileged to be joined by Blue Tree Project founder and CEO, Kendal Whyte, whose presence made the day even more meaningful. Together, we shared stories, a BBQ, and a moment of reflection on how mental health affects each of us, our families, our friends, and our colleagues.
A huge thank you to Wattyl for generously supplying the paint, and to the Darwin Turf Club for helping amplify the message that it’s okay not to be okay.
Every blue tree helps spark a conversation—and those conversations have the power to change lives.
If you've spotted a dead tree that could use a blue lease on life, please reach out to us at marketing@higgins.com.au. We’d love to help keep the conversations going!
