The 2021 Higgins Coatings Queensland School Championship is the final event in the 2021 Queensland Schools Rowing Championship Series and will host over 3,000 rowers, coaches, volunteers, and spectators. The event is designed to give another level of representation between school and state and encourages athletes to compete at a higher level.
“We’re delighted to have Higgins Coatings come on board as a premier partner” said Rowing Queensland Event and Communications Coordinator, Ms Lucy Benjamin.
“As the governing body for rowing in Queensland, we’re committed to facilitating opportunities for our members to ensure that they have access to resources that help them perform at their optimum level. Our partnership with Higgins means that we can continue to provide this level of support through these difficult times.” said Ms Benjamin.
Higgins’ Rockhampton Branch Manager Simon Ruddick has always been actively involved within the Rockhampton community and has welcomed the chance to provide support for the event.
“Higgins Coatings is a family-run business with a rich history of giving. It’s important that we give back to our local communities and show our support. It’s going to be an exciting event and I cannot wait to see these amazing athletes compete.” said Mr Ruddick.
