Higgins Coatings has teamed up with OzHarvest for the third time, this time in Adelaide. Just like the Melbourne branch, the OzHarvest Adelaide branch had outgrown its facilities and needed more space to continue its mission of transforming rescued ingredients into nourishing meals for those in need.
We encountered a new challenge at the Adelaide warehouse as we needed special access to paint the hard-to-reach places. Thankfully, United Access came to our aid. We were also grateful to have our long-time paint partner, Dulux, on board again to provide the necessary paint and materials for the job.
Alana Roberts, the Vic & SA Engagement Manager, expressed her excitement and gratitude towards Higgins Coatings for their continued support and for the beautiful paint job. She added that the support of organisations like Higgins is crucial in fulfilling their mission to provide nourishing meals for those in need.
Adelaide Branch Manager Tony Salerno who project managed the painting works, was delighted to get the chance to work with the National Organisation.
"It fills us with joy to be a part of OzHarvest's journey yet again. Higgins Coatings has always supported the OzHarvest mission, and it's an honour to witness the fruits of our labour. OzHarvest's unwavering efforts in providing meals to those in need is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to continue to support them in their endeavours."
In a time where many struggle to put food on the table, it's heartening to see organisations like OzHarvest stepping up to the plate. The recent collaboration between Higgins Coatings and OzHarvest in Adelaide is a testament to their commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need. With the help of United Access and Dulux, the team was able to give the OzHarvest warehouse a much-needed facelift, making it easier for the organisation to continue its mission of providing nourishing meals to the less fortunate. The dedication of everyone involved is truly commendable, and we can only hope that more businesses will follow in their footsteps.
