The Higgins Coatings Perth team were acknowledged by the Master Painters and Decorators Australia at the Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner held in Perth earlier this month.
Higgins took out the Award for Excellence - Commercial Repaint Category (up to $300,000) for works completed on the Allegro Apartments, a 16 storey building located on the Burswood Peninsula.
Judges critiqued the completed job on surface preparation, application and degree of difficulty. The judges deemed all areas were of a high quality, taking into strong consideration the degree of difficulty of this project, including the use of swing stage scaffold access and abseil painting.
As is the aim of all Higgins projects, the job was delivered to the highest standard, with minimal fuss or disruption to the residents. To ensure an unmatched, quality finish the team also managed the render repairs required prior to painting.
The judges weren’t the only people impressed by the outcome. Most importantly, the owners were very satisfied with the end result - so satisfied they recommended our painting services to the neighbouring Axis Apartments who are now a Higgins customer.
Higgins was also nominated in the Commercial Repaint Category (over $300,000) and Business of the Year categories.
