Higgins has partnered with the Blue Tree Project on their WA School Mural Campaign 2021. The Blue Tree Project’s mission is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling mental health concerns by spreading the message that “it’s OK not to be OK”.
The School Mural Campaign involved school’s submitting an application using 100 words or less, outlining why they would like to see a Blue True Mural at their school.
Our Perth Branch Manager Brendan Childs invited Blue Tree Project’s CEO and Founder Kendall Whyte into the office to announce the successful applicants.
Congratulations to the following schools for being named as the successful applicants for the competition:
- Kellerberrin District High School
- Belmont City College
- Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School
- Manea Senior College
As successful applicants, you’ll have your school brightened up with a mural painting created by a talented local WA artist. Kendall will also make a visit to share the inspiring story behind the Blue Tree Project.
We want to thank everyone who applied and look forward to seeing the murals.
