Warrina Cineplex
The Warrina Cineplex in Currajong is a historic-style cinema complex that is well-known for its appearance within the Townsville region. This boutique privately-owned cinema features impressive retro signage on its front facade, which had of late become faded.
Higgins was engaged to help restore the facade and its neon signage back to its original glory, with an external repaint. In conjunction with Northpoint Neon, we were required to restore the sign and fascia.
Safely accessing the facility was a challenge due to the proximity of the power lines. After liaising with Townsville Energy and receiving a permit to operate in close proximity to the power lines, we erected scaffolding onto the awning to provide access. The project spanned for several days at this architectural gem, with our work signed off by a happy customer.
