Toombul Shopping Centre
Toombul Shopping Centre is located a short drive North of the Brisbane CBD and plays home to a range of retail outlets. With over 140 stores, the facility receives significant pedestrian traffic. Such is the need for the centre to look presentable at all times. Higgins was engaged by Mirvac to carry out this project.
The scope included a full external repaint to the entirety of the centre, marking its first repaint in decades. All works were completed within a tight timeframe as their completion had to coincide with the opening of a new dining and entertainment precinct. Significant hours were completed after hours to minimise the disruption to tenants and customers.
Given the architectural design of the building, we utilised ground crew, access equipment and abseil crews to safely access all areas. We were also required to consult with sound engineers to prevent noise pollution to neighbouring residential apartments.
