Our QLD Building Services Division recently completed a significant project at the SVCS Villa LaSalle in Southport with a complete refurbishment of 9 independent 1 & 2 bedroom living units. The scope of works included demolition and removal of all fittings and fixtures, moving block walls, installing all new kitchens, redesigned bathrooms, new external glass aluminium doors, all new fixtures and fittings, electrical, plumbing and painting.
The units sat over 3 stories and were accessible by stair only, which can provide some challenges. However, our team worked hard to achieve great results, performing all works during normal business hours to offer a cost effective solution to our client. A foreman was on site at all times to provide a point of communication and keep residents and staff informed of what was happening on a day-to-day basis.
