Port Melbourne Silos
Higgins Coatings was brought in to repaint the concrete silos located on Lorimer Street in Port Melbourne.
The enormous structures stand high in the sky at 60m and 40m respectively. The project was completed over eight weeks and required workers performing their craft on an 185ft (56m) boom in between silos. Our abseil trained painters came in to work on the sections out of reach from the boom. This fantastic finish has given the largest cement facility in Victoria a fresh new look.
