Pat Rafter Arena
Pat Rafter Arena is the centre court stadium of the Queensland Tennis Centre that opened to the public in 2008, and annually hosts the Brisbane International. With a crowd capacity of 5,500, it is integral that this facility's appearance is pristine all year round. As a preferred contractor for Stadiums Queensland, Higgins was engaged to provide a repaint.
The international-standard tennis facility required a fresh coat to the steel trusses of the North East and West elevations. To safely reach the surfaces, our Operations Team utilised Elevated Working Platforms (EWP’s). Upon accessing these trusses, we applied an approved ‘International brand epoxy paint specification’ that would cater to the facility’s environmental conditions.
