Multi-site repaint and colour consultation across campus
Project Overview
Our Victorian team partnered with Melbourne Girls Grammar for a repaint and maintenance project designed to uplift and preserve the school’s most iconic spaces. With a strong focus on quality, colour consultation, and minimal disruption, each area was treated with a tailored solution delivered across the school holiday period. From heritage listed halls to early learning centres, our work was carefully staged across five key sites on campus:
Dining Hall – Interior Repaint and Colour Refresh
Working over the holiday break, our Vic team delivered a full interior repaint of the school’s dining hall. The project began with a colour consultation to help the client implement a more contemporary palette. Our team undertook significant surface preparation to ensure a flawless finish across walls and doors.
Ross Hall – Heritage-Focused Repaint
This heritage listed site required careful coordination and compliance. After a colour consultation, the Higgins team advised that council approval was needed to update the scheme. Due to delayed approvals, the works were postponed to the next holiday window, with portions delivered after hours and on weekends to meet deadlines.
Ross Hall Windows – Specialist Surface Restoration
The windows of Ross Hall were in poor condition and required extensive surface prep prior to priming and painting. Completed over a one-week period during term break, our team restored these features with care and precision.
Phelia Grimwade Entrance – High-Impact Entry Statement
The entrance to the Phelia Grimwade building is a key visual element for visitors and needed to reflect the school’s high standards. Delivered over one week by a team of three, this project focused on elevating the school’s first impression.
ELC – Early Learning Centre Exterior Repaint
Our team consulted on colour and developed an access methodology to navigate overgrown vegetation and limited site access. Cracks in the structure were addressed during prep, ensuring a long-lasting result.
Despite the variety of environments and structural conditions, all works were completed during non-teaching periods to eliminate disruption, with tailored solutions for each site. This multi project approach depicts how the team at Higgins work seamlessly within school environments to deliver quality outcomes.
