Melba Copland Secondary School within the Australian Capital Territory is a government school providing secondary education for students from years 7 to 12.
Higgins was engaged to provide an external repaint at two of the school's campuses. We were preferred over our local competitors due to our demonstrated capability and schedule of works, which met the customers timeline for the project.
The scope of works entailed an external repaint with a colour change to lift the profile of the school. Our operations team of eight worked across six weeks, and while providing our craft had to be mindful of asbestos sheeting. We applied a hybrid coating system of Dulux Weathershield and Metalshield and provided an uplift to the look of the facilities on-site.
