As one of the country's leading pathology services, each centre is devoted to achieving the highest standards when it comes to best medical practices in their field. As such, our works had to reflect the same standards that would allow the facility to operate as efficiently as possible.
Our Melbourne team began the project with a clean slate. Knowing multiple trades would be involved, our project management team coordinated site access and work schedules to best suit the project timeline. The internal fit-out initially detailed assessments by a draftsman and building surveyor to develop a proposed floor plan that would satisfy the client's needs.
Throughout the span of 3 weeks, we performed works ranging from carpentry and plastering, electrical, plumbing, tiling and caulking and of course painting. By supplying all materials and carrying out installation, the pressure was relieved of the client to manage and oversee the works, though our team conducted several site meetings to mark progress and ensure that the works aligned with what was envisioned.
The final result vastly differs from the previous state of the space. What was once a shell, is now a bright, fully fitted interior including a floating grid tiled ceiling and a fully repainted feature wall matching the unmistakeable lime green synonymous with the Dorevitch brand.
The building manager was impressed with Higgins' ability to produce excellent workmanship in all trades in such a small timeframe.
