The poor state of the Opal Healthcare facility was apparent as the building hadn’t been repainted in 10 years. In this time, the surfaces had degraded due to high levels of wear and tear. The client knew how freshening up the property could go a long way to provide a better environment for residents and staff. The need for a complete internal repaint required careful planning and preparation considering COVID-19 restrictions.
Given most internal areas naturally see high levels of foot traffic, our Wollongong team needed to develop a schedule of works that would cater to this and ensure that the Healthcare’s operations were unhindered and that safety issues wouldn’t arise.

Our thorough scope of works meant that all internal areas would receive the same high quality repaint using premium Dulux products. We carefully assessed each surface to determine the most suitable paint specification, rectifying particularly damaged areas to create a consistent look.
From start to finish, our transparent communication with management and implementation of a COVID-Safe Plan allowed the project to progress seamlessly.
