City West Police Complex
Lendlease–Baulderstone was contracted for the build of Melbourne’s new City West Police Complex. The complex includes a high level of environmental credentials, targeting a minimum 5-Star Green Star Office Design Rating (V3), as well as a 4.5 Star NABERS Energy Rating. Higgins had the task of overcoming several painting challenges including finishing the internals and externals at the same time and matching vinyl to the wall colour. We used 28 painters to finish two floors per week, as well as completing the basement and other works, to make the deadline.
