Lendlease engaged Higgins Cairns to provide the painting schedule of the building extension at the Cairns Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This new construction project included the painting of the extension internally and externally, including clear coating of concrete surfaces.

In combination with the scaffolding in place, we used boom lifts and all terrain scissor booms to safely access all surfaces.

Being a new construction project we worked around multiple concurrent trades. 

Our clear, ongoing communication with Lendlease enabled our operations team of between 6-12 painters to deliver our painting works effectively. 

We performed out-of-hours work across the three-month painting project.

The results are amazing, with the new section of the Cairns Convention and Exhibition Centre seamlessly blending with the existing structure.
