Aveo Sackville Grange Retirement Village
Village management recognised the vital part painting maintenance plays in keeping a pleasant environment for its residents. Regular common area wear and tear over time internally meant that various substrates needed a fresh coat.
After completing projects at other Aveo locations, the competency of our Melbourne team to tackle any scope of works was never in doubt.
At this facility, we were tasked with repainting all previously painted surfaces in the common areas across three buildings. Each building consisted of four levels that housed multiple residents. This prompted our operatives to conduct works only after all residents were notified to prevent disruptions.
We performed caulking around all feature timber columns before applying a paint specification supplied by Dulux according to Aveo colours. Dulux Enviro was specially chosen for its low VOC properties making it well-suited to indoor spaces.
In the timeframe our project management team was given to complete the project, we conducted multiple site walkthroughs and weekly updates to ensure village management was happy with our progress. Having the capacity to upscale our team on-site allowed us to complete the project two weeks ahead of schedule.
The internal common areas appeared brighter after the team's two-month stint, with the durable coatings sure to last for years to come.
