From humble beginnings in 1864 as a fresh fish merchant, operating from the Melbourne wholesale fish markets, PFD Food Services today is Australia’s leading food distributer with a national network of over 60 branches, more than 2000 staff and a fleet in excess of 550 vehicles on the road delivering service excellence and quality every day.
The SA State Office in Torrensville is home to the SA call centre and distribution facilities and Higgins was awarded the job of assisting with refurbishing the call centre. It has evolved over time as the business has expanded, but was well overdue for an image refresh to create a modern and professional environment for both the staff and clients visiting the site.
Higgins is proud that we were able to provide a holistic approach to managing the project with the supply and installation of new split system air conditioning and structural building works to create an open plan office space. Plus a full repainting, recarpeting and installation of decorative acoustic pin boards that add a splash of colour while helping to control noise levels in this busy and dynamic setting. The end result is a stylish and practical transformation that will provide the staff and management with a contemporary, comfortable office environment for many years to come.
