The Wyndham Resort Torquay stands nearby some of Australia's most famous surf beaches. Higgins were successful in bidding for the repainting tender at the Wyndham Resort Torquay. The project scoped for a full external repaint and internal repaint to all common areas to this 200 rooms complex.
The building was in poor condition with water ingress issues consistently causing degradation. To complete the repainting works, our operations team utilised customised scaffolding and boom/scissor lifts.
We applied a colour scheme consistent with their previous palette and completed the works over the course of a year. Our operations plan needed to be flexible to cater to the facility scaling up their volume of bookings in conjunction with COVID-19 restrictions.
