Higgins Coatings was delighted to be tasked with giving one of Melbourne's iconic pubs a facelift. Situated in the heart of Abbotsford, Terminus Hotel has been long known for its distinctive green façade and art deco design.
When the client came to us with a desire to give the ‘grand lady of Abbotsford’ a fresh and contemporary new look, Higgins worked with an experienced colour consultant to make the right choice.
The location on busy Victoria Street posed its own set of challenges, with the adjacent tram lines adding an additional consideration to access requirements. Our team worked around this to ensure all actions were compliant, the appropriate permits were obtained, and all services were conducted in a safe manner.
Terminus Hotel is now freshly painted and sporting a new monochrome exterior, ready for the onslaught of summer pub-goers.
Higgins provided us with an extremely professional service, from the planning stage to the end product.
A colour consultant was engaged to assist with the colour selection and all the appropriate permits were acquired to ensure the job was completed in line with the appropriate bodies safety requirements. I would recommend their services to other’s looking for a quality painting job and we look forward to working with them on our next project.
