St Mary's Primary School has been a critical part of the Maryborough community since opening in 1858 as the first Catholic school in the region. The school presently operates as a co-educational Catholic School from P-6 for over 350 students.
We were engaged to deliver a painting maintenance plan at St Mary's Primary School to uplift the appearance of the facilities.
The school's facility management team became aware of Higgins through other projects we'd executed at local Catholic Education facilities. Confident in our proficiency, discussions led to a site visit where we audited the condition of the school's buildings before proposing a comprehensive painting project.
The main priority for the school was to update the aged colour scheme, prioritising high-traffic areas. Our painting professionals designed a new colour scheme that has retired the maroon and mustard in favour of a striking combination of blue, grey, and white akin to the school's logo.
The painting plan features a full external repaint across seven years, with internal repainting delivered via discretionary hours.
Year one was successfully executed using a combination of roof access, 80 ft EWPs, and groundworks. The school is ecstatic with the progress and is eager for our return over the summer holidays.
