Mount Pleasant Primary School is a coeducational primary school, located in Mount Pleasant within the Ballarat region. The school has been in operations for almost 150 years and was originally a tent site during the Eureka Stockade.
Our Geelong team was engaged by the business manager of Mount Pleasant Primary School to provide an internal repaint to their 'old building'.
The full internal repaint included a colour change, and was not without its challenges. Given the age of the building there was some lead-based paint that required mitigation and encapsulation. In addition to this, we required mobile scaffolding to safely access the ceilings that exceeded 6 metres in height.
At project sign-off the school's principal provided some kind words about working with Higgins as below.
"Higgins completed a substantial project of our large heritage school building. The experience from the start was professional and personable. We were guided each step of the way by our local BDM, who assisted with colours, scheduling and setting up the project overall. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and will absolutely use them again in the future for further works. Thanks Higgins!."
