Higgins was engaged by BGIS as the service provider of the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre to give the iconic Yellow Cheese Sticks above its canopy a fresh coat of paint.
The sticks had not been painted since the original build over 20 years ago. Thorough preparation was required before a four-coat system using a combination of Dulux Durebild and Weathermax was used to revive the glory of the iconic landmarks.
As always OH&S was front of mind and Higgins abseil team completed the job safely and in line with National Safety Standards. The client was very impressed with the finished work.
"Higgins provided the work while maintaining OH&S standards on all their work including abseiling. We were very impressed with the end result, all in all a job well done."
