Birdiya Drive Flagpole

Our Perth team executed a flagpole remediation project along the notable Birdiya Drive.

The project involved the remediation of a 37 m high flagpole, which had deteriorated over time due to salination, delamination and chalking caused by the original epoxy coating.

The City of Perth provided a comprehensive engineers report on the condition of the flagpole before determining our operations plan.

Mechanical preparation of the flagpole's surfaces was required to cater to its poor condition.

Obtaining permits for pedestrian management was a crucial part of the project. We created a large exclusion zone to ensure pedestrian safety while our operations team worked without disruption.

Regular worksite reviews and audits were conducted by the City of Perth to guarantee that the project met the highest standards of quality and safety.

Operating within a strict two-week timeline, our operations team delivered a high-quality repaint.

Thanks to our team’s expertise and attention to detail, the flagpole is fully restored to its former glory.

We are proud to have played a part in preserving this iconic structure for years to come.
